Villanova Preparatory School is the premier coed Catholic boarding school on the West Coast. Founded in 1924 by the Augustinian Fathers, it’s mission is to graduate mature young adults of diverse backgrounds who reflect the core values of Truth, Unity, and Love. Villanova Prep is highly regarded for it’s academic excellence in the International Baccalaureate program, it’s international culture with a student body made up of 17 different countries, and it’s formation of students in the Christian values of Jesus Christ.

The school develops the minds, bodies, and hearts of students in a safe and supportive environment, with a 7:1 student to teacher ratio. The students enjoy a beautiful 131 acre campus located in the beautiful Ojai Valley. The school offers an enriching variety of extracurricular activities and sports programs as well as a vibrant art scene. Students go on to matriculate into the best U.S. Universities and Colleges, but always have a home at Villanova Prep.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, we provide our academically motivated students with the unique opportunity to study university-level courses during their junior and senior year with an emphasis on inquiry, knowledge, and caring. In fact, we are the only boarding school in California that offers the IB Diploma Programme. As an IB Diploma candidate, you will become globally-minded and discover ways in which you can positively impact the world.

Catholic Values
Villanova is a Catholic school that looks to form compassionate and generous leaders. One does not need to be Catholic to attend Villanova though many of our non-Catholic students appreciate our value based education in morality, responsibility and community service.
